Keystone Ski Trip—
March 28 - April 4, 2009

We left Big Sky on Saturday in a light snow fall. We stopped by various ski resorts (Grand Targhee, Jackson Hole, Howelson Hill and Steamboat) on our way to Keystone. It was so cold when we arrived, below 0°F with the wind chill. Monday Gene finally bought new ski boots before registering for the Mountain Travel Symposium. He was pretty busy for the week attending parties, meetings, breakfasts, lunches, dinners. I know it sounds like a lot of fun, but it gets to be old fast. Gene and I skied together Tuesday through Wednesday. I skied alone on Friday. We had storms with fresh powder on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. As usual, it was a wonderful trip.
