Alyeska Ski Trip—
February 16 - 20, 2009

We arrived late Monday night pretty much on time in spite of Alaska Airlines notoriously bad on-time record. Tuesday, we were upgraded to a junior suite. Sweet! Gene skied Tuesday in snow and through fog. Wednesday was clear and beautiful and we wore ourselves out. Thursday it was snowing but the visibility wasn't too bad We had a great time. We were introduced to a great local Cajun restaurant— Double Musky Inn. The owner, Justin Persons, showed us his very impressive wine cellar. If you ever get anywhere near Anchorage, you must eat here in Girdwood.
